Knoll Cottage Blew Me Kisses, Labbe-Jones ‘17
Sold Out
Tetraploid Dormant 26” M 4 ¾”
The creamy white of the petals and sepals sets off the lighter blue violet eye exhibiting a twinkle with an even lighter blue violet hue running through it and the eye is etched in purple magenta . The darker veining in the eye gives depth of color while enhancing the green throat. That same lighter blue violet and purple magenta can be found ¾ of the way out from the throat on the slightly pinched ruffled petal edges.
The branching can be 3 to 4 way with an 18-24 bud count. Very pod fertile and pollen is fertile. This Introduction transforms itself into an exceptional parent either way and has proven to be a great hybridizing plant for blues and patterns.
Seedling # ML 13-45 {(Texas Blue Eyes x Linda Sierra) X (Vertical Horizon x Blue Hippo)}

Seedling pics from 2016, 2017 and 2018 have been added.
'Knoll Cottage Blew Me Kisses' adapts easily depending on what you are using as a pollen parent.
In the 2016 pics 'All Things to All Men' was the pollen parent on many crosses.
In the 2018 crosses, I used my Spider 'Whip City Walks on Air' and for seedling # 18-246 an Unusual Form seedling.
