The clump had multiplied beautifully and was very large when I finally decided to separate and introduce this seedling. The size of the clump has enabled me to give at least a triple fan with each purchase. Even though the clump was large, it did not reduce its 5 way branching or its 24 bud count. The bloom this summer (2017) was spectacular and very showy. This color is a shade lighter than a true violet red with a yellow to green throat. Pod and pollen fertile.
