Lavender is the overall color with red-violet veining. The band is a light blue violet etched in a pencil line of dahlia red-purple with a twinkle radiating from the throat thru the band. The edges of the petals are slightly ruffled and the color is a deeper shade of the overall color.
There is 4 way branching with an 18 bud count. Sets pods easily and the pollen is fertile.
Yellow to green throat and fragrant.
‘KC Berry Swirls’ has survived 2016 - 2017 heaving and thawing and 2017 - 2018 freezing temperatures with hardly any snow cover for over 2 months. My evergreens are very hardy.
