The green throat is surrounded by a dazzling and a clear Intense red. Ruffled petals & sepals makes a statement for a dynamic garden plant that would pair well with a Miscanthus ‘Zebrinnus’, about 4 ft. tall, because of the yellow stripes up the leaves and a Redbeckia ‘Laciniata’ Coneflower where the tall, 6 ft. yellow flower has a marvelous green cone. They all bloom for me at the same time in the later summer.

The branching on Knoll Cottage Calypso Disco is excellent.
There are no fancy bells and whistles from this introduction, but the color, branching and sun-fastness bats it out of the park for a home run.
